Health Care Reform—Impacts for Large Employers
This session is designed to help you better understand how Health Care Reform affects you as a large employer—to stay in compliance with and lead your company’s response to this new legislation.
With the passage of the new Health Care legislation, there are implications and concerns for larger employers. You have begun the process of understanding the financial, programmatic, operational, and legal requirements of the new legislation. There are also important communication considerations in order for your workforce to understand forthcoming change. This session will review the special considerations that large employers need to be aware of to stay in compliance with and lead your company’s response to this new legislation. This session will cover:
• The current understanding of requirements, timing and intent including the grandfathering discussion and what needs to be acted upon this year and next
• Administrative considerations and financial impact such as cost modeling and pricing distribution
• Strategic considerations and workforce engagement, including developing a benefit strategy for the next 3-5 years and employee accountability
