Do You Have a “Global Mindset”?— The Key Question in Global Leadership Development
SHRM Recommended Readings
Leading the Global Workforce
This session will help you define, assess, and develop a global mindset in building global leadership competency.
Global mindset is a set of attributes (intellectual, social, and psychological capitals) that help leaders influence others “unlike” themselves—individuals, groups, and organizations from diverse cultural/political/economic settings. We will explore the makeup of a global mindset and how to measure whether you, and others, have one. You will also learn how to develop a global mindset with multiple methods of “read”,
“surf”, “watch”, “listen” and “do” for each of the three capitals.
