SHRM Recommended Readings
Lost Knowledge
This session will help you develop and implement strategies and techniques for the effective and beneficial employment of older workers, as well as present ideas for managing workplace generational differences.
While many organizations recognize the incredible value older workers bring to the workforce, additional challenges that come with this value are most often in the form of intergenerational interactions. This session will address the organizational benefits of employing older workers. Strategies and techniques for retention, recruitment, and re-employment of older workers will be examined. We also will explore ways to promote the effectiveness and productivity of older workers, as well as how to manage intergenerational workplace relationships.
