Workplace Violence: The Early Warning Signs
This session will help you identify and minimize behaviors which are unhealthy in the workplace.
Recently, there has been much discussion about workplace bullying:the overly aggressive behavior that makes coming to work a dreaded necessity for many employees and can lead to violence. Some have called bullying the younger sibling to violence. Others have looked at bullying as a violence predictor. One thing is certain, there is a cost associated with allowing bullying and violence. This session will detail the differences and similarities between violence and bullying, and detail the kind of workplace that breeds bullying and is ripe for violence. This session will also discuss strategies for the prevention of these behaviors.
