Workplace Application: Understanding social media is important when crafting your social media policy, brand awareness, developing your recruiting strategy, or during common employee investigations.
Learn about social media from common terms, tools, tips, and applications for HR professionals. This 4 hour session will get you started and on your way to becoming a Social Media Ninja. Participants will create their own social media accounts and learn about how sexting, brand, awareness, sexual harassment, and other HR investigations can involve Facebook, Twitter, and blogging as well as best practices for HR professionals. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops.

* Advanced registration and additional program fees are required for the pre-conference workshops.
